Random Tidbits

First of all, this is from my sister, Clarissa. She was writing a portfolio for her technical theater experience late at night, and this is what she wrote:

If you would have asked me a year ago if I would have said you were crazy. . . . I am currently the stage managing our next show. I rally enjoy doing it.

I laughed and laughed. She should have said: “If you would have asked me a year ago it I would be a stage manager, I would have said you were crazy.” But she forgot a few words.

And I had a bad day today. It’s okay now. I just wrote about it, and then deleted it because I realized I was being a complainer I don’t want to complain. Enough of that. It was a fine day. No complaining!

I was on the bus this morning, and there wasn’t room. I have stood before, so I was expecting to stand, and then a nice man gave me his seat. Now, I have seen people do this before, but for me to be in that experience–wow. I was so grateful and surprised by his kindness. I felt all warm and special inside. Really. I know that it isn’t pleasant to stand, and he gave up his seat.

Finally, I don’t know if I’ve said this before, but my philosophy teacher looks like a mole with dentures and glasses. One of my English teachers bears a strong resemblance to the main character from Diary of a Wimpy Kid. And my Spanish teacher looks like a blond, skinny bulldog. I’ve also had a teacher that looked like Timon from The Lion King. Strange. I should stop making comparisons. But they are all true.
