Summer

It feels like summer today. I went out to breakfast, just for fun. Then I just sort of hung out. I didn’t do much. I laminated pictures and put them on my wall. I read a book. I talked with people.

Of course, I did do a little homework in there because I am going summer semester. That’s a little odd. But I can pretend that I don’t have anything to do, and I’m back to those beautiful summer breaks before work and college, where every day is just full of possibilities and no requirements.

I watched Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.  A little late, it did come out a while ago, but I loved it. It made me happy. It was just simple, clean, and full of goodness. I noticed that it didn’t get very good reviews, and I officially distrust critics forever. They don’t know what they are talking about. I’ve not enjoyed movies they’ve liked and loved movies they hated. Overall, I like liking things, not being critical of them.

I’m reading Book of a Thousand Days again. Love it love it love it. Love Dashti. Have I ever told you it’s my favorite book? Well, it’s my favorite book. I haven’t read a book in a few weeks, and I’ve had so much school reading for the summer, that I needed something to get me going again. I looked at my book shelf and it looked wonderful. And it is.
