When life gets complicated–wait, I take that back. When I complicate life, I don’t really know what to say on this blog.
Luckily, life has a tendency to somewhat simplify again, and we learn and we grow. And we end up behind in homework, but caught up in my mending (which means that I had my sister hem and take in seams for me), and overall, life is okay. You know what, life is great.
Oh. I guess this is what I’m going to say today. I am now officially the relief society president for my young single adult ward. (A word of explanation for people who don’t know what that means: a young single adult ward is a congregation of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who are under the age of 30 and who are not married. A relief society president is the leader of the women’s organization that exists in every ward.)
So I have two new counselors and a secretary, and we are all new and not quite sure what we are supposed to be doing. At first, I was very overwhelmed with everything, but now I am simply excited to serve in the capactiy that I have.
Life is exciting sometimes. Nerve racking and scary too. But I know that I have a lot of support out there, and people who help me, and so everything is going to work out.
