I have graduated from the University of Utah with two degrees in English and Philosophy. Magna cum laude, just so you know.
I went to convocation yesterday in my cap and gown and quite enjoyed myself. It was only an hour and a half, so not too long, and it was a great ending to three years of college.
My parents, Dillon, my sisters Clarissa and Liz, and my brother-in-law Joe all came to see me. And that was really nice of Clarissa, because it was her birthday.
In the evening we had a cake that said: “Yea! Clarissa, Liz, Heather, and Ben!” Since Liz and I graduate from college, Ben got his associates degree, and Clarissa turned nineteen.
But now I have no obligation for school. Instead, I have to get a job. And get married. And start other exciting grown-up adventures.
