a recommendation: librivox

I discovered LibriVox from the person I replaced at my work–I took over her computer, and she had it bookmarked. At first, I wasn’t sure what it was, so I didn’t click on it, and then one morning I decided to explore.

And found that it was awesome!

LibriVox takes books in the public domain and records them, so you can listen to free mp3 files of all these wonderful books. My first book was Persuasion, read by a collection of different people from all over the world, all female, and all wonderful readers. I continued with Walden, and have been enjoying it immensely.
