Family Life

Random

It snowed last night.

To celebrate the snow, Dillon and I went hiking/hunting. In the cold snow. And it was tons of fun, besides the blister. It was the first time in a while we had a real date, without a baby.

I’ve watched all the episodes of Psych that you can get online. I like that show. I probably shouldn’t watch it as much as I do, but since I’ve watched everything already, it will have to slow down now.

Dillon has a new job at Kmart. Turns out he gets an employee discount. Sweet. Someday he’ll get a job he’s actually qualified for, instead of way over-qualified. But any job is a good job.

I just read Paranormalcy. That book was so awesome. I don’t really like paranormal fiction and I don’t really like pink either, but I loved that book. So much so that I wasn’t a very good mother for an hour or so.

I hate figuring out what to have for meals. Everyone does, I think. We drove by a taco stand, so I made tacos. Wish every day was that easy.

I had another random thing I was going to write about, but I can’t remember what it was. My short-term memory stinks, especially when I get tired. I’ll hold conversations with people and have no idea what I said half a minute ago.

  1. I planned my whole week of menus don’t think we had a thing on it, Oh I did do tacos last night. Sometimes I look at it and am just not in the mood for that so I think of something else. But it is good to have it somewhere, just in case I want to follow.

  2. Congrats on the new job! The dream job of being a police cop (?) will come to fruition. Love the picture of you and MM surrounded by leaves!
