I have so many pictures and I am just loading them all into one post.
Shortly after we moved here, my parents came and visited, partly to bring us our car that we had left behind. They also brought a cousin along with them, which was a surprise for MM.
This is where I live now. It’s beautiful. The lake level has been going up steadily.
MM loved playing with her cousin. Here they are at the park.
Here is my dad.
Here is BB.
We’ve had lots of good time spent at home together as a family. Sometimes we watch movies.
And we cuddle.
And we hop on pop.
So spring has not been very agreeable. Lots of snow. We woke up to this one day:
This was in March. I don’t remember if they had a snow day at the schools for this snow storm, or for another snow storm. Get it together, weather. We want spring.
But it’s fun to go outside no matter what the weather.
And we did build our snowman.
This area is now covered in water.
MM got her foot wet.
We went to a science museum and had quite a good time together.
My kids love playing together.
And this is from making Easter eggs. Which we did the day before Easter.
Crayons and food coloring.
Beer mugs are courtesy of Dillon’s grandpa.
I didn’t boil that many eggs, but it was fun. That’s about all we did for Easter. We barely had any candy, and I very much liked it that way. There are so many holidays with candy. I don’t like candy. I don’t like my kids when they have candy.
I like them like this:
We read stories together every day. This is right before bed time:
And look, another snow storm. I think this is actually the one with the snow day, not the last one.
So BB picked through his toys and got out the cars to play with. He can stand on his own now. He’s taken a few steps even, but not walking yet.
I love baby smiles, don’t you?
Still snow! We were going outside and writing notes in our journals about what we saw.
MM loves making funny faces.
BB does what I tell him to better.
I love his dimple.
MM loves to slide down the banister.
BB likes to sing sometimes.
And we have deer in our yard constantly. I’m not sure about gardening this year.
Again, hopping on pop.
SR loves to stick his tongue out.
BB loves this hat.
MM sings too sometimes.
And we play with dinosaurs. And trucks. And take my books off the shelf.
Hide and seek is a regular occurrence. My best hiding place recently was behind a snow suit.
We went on a hike. When there wasn’t snow and it felt like spring instead of winter.
MM and BB walked some of the way. But not all of the way.
In the wetlands.
I love hiking.
BB can get quite energetic.
There is a picture of me. I am happy because I am hiking.
SR loved hiking too.
Here is yet another picture of me.
My boys like each other.
MM wasn’t always happy when she had to walk.
I’m at the end of the post. There are other things we have been doing I don’t have pictures of: going to church, playing with friends, visiting people, going to tumbling class (MM does well, BB just likes to run very fast all over the place and he doesn’t participate beyond somersaults), going to an hour a week preschool program (we learned about metamorphosis today), going to the library, story time, etc.
So many good things in life. There are always good things in life if you choose to notice them.
