We got a nail in our tire. Normally, I would have thought this was a job for my husband, who is stronger and more experienced at that sort of thing. But he was at work.
And so I figured out how to change a tire (I have done it before, though not alone). I put the broken tire in the trunk of my car and my kids and I went off and got it fixed. We came home and I stuck the tire back on. All Dillon did was tighten it a bit at the end.
It took me a lot longer doing it by myself. But it gave me a whole lot of satisfaction.
A lot of of what holds us back is self-doubt and so we don’t even get started or try. But we really can do more than we think we can.
