Thoughts to myself


You can’t escape life to be happy.

Let bad days define who you are not instead of who you are.

Do five good things for every bad thing, since you aren’t perfect.

Make today beautiful.

Planning can prevent bad days. Plan daily.

Try to say only say positive things about my children, my husband, my extended family, and everyone else.

Do dishes after every meal.

No one has an easy life. We all struggle and we struggle for good reasons. Living is simply hard. It is wonderful, but it is hard no matter who you are.

Sometimes trials don’t make us stronger, but they break us down instead. That’s okay. We can learn to rely on God more.
